Easy Granola Bars

Super easy, 4 ingredients!  Can’t cook?  You can make these!  They are tasty, nutritious and filled with good things that your body needs after a workout, not all that extra stuff in granola bars you purchase at your grocery store! Make them yourself, even adjust the honey a bit, and know what’s in your food!

Four-Ingredient Granola Bars

3/4 cup honey

1  cup almond butter

3 cups oats

3/4 cup dried apricots

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Heat the honey and almond butter together in a small pan until the mixture is combined.  Stir in the oats. Chop the dried apricots into small pieces and mix into the oats and almond butter mixture.

Line an 9 x 9 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a bit of parchment to lay over two opposite sides for easy lifting out of the pan. Spread the oat mixture into the pan and press firmly with your fingers into the pan.

Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.  Let cool and then lift out of the pan. Cut into squares, bite-sized or larger!
