Snow continues to fall in central PA every single day lately! I guess that is winter this year. All I can think about it is eating or drinking something warm. I tried this Turkey Chili recipe last weekend, since the ground turkey was placed prominently in the Wegmans meat department–I guess it was for that Game that was played on Sunday.
Very. Good. Chili.
My hubby said that he liked it better than traditional beef chili.
I did not buy the packages of diced veggies called for. I just cut my own. I used the chili powder that I already had, rather than buy their “mexican-style.”
I cut the recipe in half, using one pound of ground turkey, and I only used 2 teaspoons of the chili powder since I was worried that the 1 Tablespoon (which would have been 3 teaspoons) would be a bit too much. We liked the ratio.
Three of us ate the chili for dinner, with leftovers for lunch this week.
Chili is a great way to warm up!
